MDO Hakthon

In an effort to strengthen integration between industrial and academic institutions, Minerals Development Oman (MDO), in partnership with the Innovation and Technology Transfer Center at Sultan Qaboos University, organized the "MDO Hackathon" from January 9 to 11, 2025, at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Ibri. The hackathon aimed to stimulate innovation by developing creative ideas and solutions to address environmental and technical challenges faced by the mining sector and related industries, with the participation of a select group of researchers, innovators, and students from higher education institutions.
